Riverview for TC Bellevue

TC Bellevue
The new Twin Cruiser "Bellevue" left Rostock shipyard Neptun on March, 30. With a length of 135 meters, it is the longest passenger liner travelling up and down the Rhine and the Danube. The ship will be baptized in April, 26, in Cologne. As the sister ships "Flamenco" and "Avalon Tapestry", "Bellevue" is equipped with our infomation system Riverview.

Visit us at the Seatrade Convention 2006 in Miami

Being the world's leading cruise-exhibition, the annual Seatrade Cruise Shipping Convention is the central event within the ship-building industry. From March 13 to 16, more than 950 exhibitors from more than 100 countries will inform about the latest trends and services in Miami, Florida. Every year, the exhibtion attracts about 10,000 visitors. It is the largest gathering for cruise line owners, operators, suppliers and people interested.

Thirty-six German exhibitors will present their products on a total surface area of 609 square metres. Since 1994, the Hanseatic city of Rostock which is the most important German cruise-port is represented in Miami. In 2006, the Hafen-Entwicklungsgesellschaft Rostock mbH, and seven other exhibitors, will not only promote the destination Rostock-Warnemünde but also introduce their maritime services.

Among these will be the IT-agency JAKOTA Cruise Systems. Focussing on passenger-information-systems, JAKOTA has expanded its offer of service: the new product Oceanview informs cruise-passengers about position, course and programm of their journey. Fleetmon represents all the fleet's important features on an inuitive interface. World-wide ship positions can be shown on interactive maps. In booth 156/04 JAKOTA will also inform about Digital Signage and its latest products.

Avalon Tapestry equipped with Riverview

The German river cruise corporation Premicon AG has finished the Twin Cruiser Avalon Tapestry.
Preparations for the construction of a successor is running at full speed in the assembly hangar of Rostock's shipyard Neptun. JAKOTA appreciates the corporation's decision to install the passenger info system Riverview into these ships and provides a multi-lingual version.

A-ROSA fleet relies on Riverview

In April, the two river vessels A-ROSA Stella and A-ROSA Luna of the German Arkona AG have been equipped with the passenger information system Riverview. It provides the guests of the cruise liners with position data and tourist information. The two ships have been built by Neptun Stahlbau GmbH in Rostock and they represent the region's productivity. JAKOTA is pleased to contribute to the international representation of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
