The Port of Rostock has equipped its newly built cruise terminal with a Signage System which was developed by JAKOTA. Our service includes not only delivery, installation and adaptation of the DSS, but also the development of different content-modules for practice (as weather information, camera shoots, news from the internet). It is possible to represent both, static and dynamic contents of different media, as for example advertising films, information panels, important messages, live video-streams, news feeds and so forth. On the occasion of the Seatrade Europe 05 (November, 1 to 2, Hamburg), JAKOTA has introduced the second version of its product Riverview.
The program informs guests on cruise liners about position, course and program of their journey. Furthermore, the new software Fleetmon is available from now on, presenting all important features of a fleet on an intuitive interface.

In May 2005, JAKOTA signed contracts with the river cruise A-ROSA (a branch of the German Arkona AG) on the delivering of IT-support to the fleet of ship cruising on the river Danube and Rhône. We are taking responsibility for the ship's IT-equipment and the mail communication. The constant monitoring process and the ticketing system ensure fast respond. Long term maintenance contracts between A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH and JAKOTA prove the trust the contractor renowned for high-class river cruising has in our services. The fleet's IT-equipment are to be attended by JAKOTA Cruise Systems 24 hours a day. After having already proven our reliability in maintaining of the data-communication this represents a further consequent step into the direction of full service.
